Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director JJ Abrams previews Kylo’s Knights of Ren in the latest teaser trailer. Apparently, these deadly foes will play a large role in the new movie, but fans may need to wait until December 19th for confirmation. Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker starts off the “Fate” TV spot with a voiceover where he says “Confronting fear is the destiny of a Jedi” as a standoff between Rey and Kylo Ren is set up. At around the 8-second mark, we catch a glimpse of the Knights of Ren, a group of six together on a desert planet alongside other images of Rey, Chewbacca, and other members of the Resistance fighting team in the same location. These armor-clad characters are standing on a cliff and wielding their own weapons, yet all appear to be wearing black attire.
