Oshkosh Defense has unveiled their latest all-terrain vehicle, and it’s definitely no slouch. Called the “S-ATV”, this 8,250-pound military all-terrain vehicle features a modular design and integrated ready mounts, enabling operators to swap out weapons, like you would computer parts. It’s powered by a Duramax 6.6L V8 diesel engine producing 275HP, paired with an Allison automatic 6-speed transmission, that puts power down to all four R20 wheels. The engine cooling system can operate in temperatures up to 130° F, while its intelligent independent suspension system maximizes mobility, enabling the crew of five to go anywhere.
