The newly opened TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York, United States is housed in the former TWA Flight Center airline terminal that originally opened in 1962, designed by architect Eero Saarinen. This hotel added two buildings on either side of the existing headhouse and contain a total of 512 rooms between them.

We know that LG is working on a z-fold smartphone, but Samsung may not be far behind, according to a design patent with the KIPO (Korean Intellectual Property Office) that was published on August 7, 2019 that covers a total of 23 sketches. You’re not looking at a specimen placed under a microscope, but rather NGC 2022, a jellyfish-like planetary nebula. How do these form? When stars like the Sun grow advanced in age, they expand before glowing red, and then these red giants begin to lose their outer layers of material into space. The Drako GTE is touted as the world’s most powerful GT vehicle, and rightfully so, as it’s powered by four electric motors (one at each wheel) that generate a combined 1,200 horsepower and 6,491 pound-feet of torque, complete with supercar-like handling, while topping out at 206 mph. Each one of these motors send power through a direct-drive gearbox, and acomputer system precisely controls power to each wheel over 1,000 times per second. Vollebak’s Black Squid Jacket is inspired by the ability of a squid to rapidly change color, and to achieve this effect, the surface was coated in resin with 2 billion laser-embedded black glass microspheres, or 40,000 per square centimeter of material. In less optimal light conditions, the light reflects off the exterior, giving the jacket an “oily” appearance, while bright sunlight gives it an iridescent sheen.

James Glickenhaus, one of the world’s most famous Ferrari collectors, has unveiled the latest Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus project, and it’s called the Boot Buggy. Inspired by Steve McQueen’s Baja Boot, this off-road vehicle is ready to tackle the Baja 1000 right from the factory. The road version is powered by a 460-horsepower LT1 powers and the race model boasts a 650-horsepower LT4, mated to a heavy duty transmission. Parker Brothers Concepts, best known for their all-electric TRON Lightcycle, have revealed their latest project: the M12 Warthog seen in the Experience. It all started as a Nissan Leaf, but after countless hours of work, it became the Warthog that you see above. The team first had to carefully study the CAD drawing specifications with 343 Industries to make sure everything was perfect before the body was made.

Would you rather spend $5-million on a mansion, or the world’s first and only Learjet limo? If it’s the latter, you’ll be glad to know that this limousine not only looks like a private jet, but seats up to eight people, complete with illuminated plexiglass panels on the roof, a large television, lots of speakers, an LED infinity floor and of course, plenty of mood lighting. The quirky Volkswagen I.D. Buggy Concept has made its Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance debut at Monterey Car Week. It was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and previews the versatility of Volkswagen’s modular I.D. architecture. This all-electric buggy is powered by a 62-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack and two axle-mounted motors for a combined output of 201 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, sent to all four wheels, which equates to a 0-60 miles per hour time of 7.2 seconds.
