Designed by Lucas Serafini, the Ferrari Concept 2008 combines a Maserati-inspired frontend with “the kind of aggressive, subtle lines we like in our Ferraris.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

Sure, from the A-pillar forward is pure Maserati, and there’s no way a front intake like that could or should make it onto a Ferrari. Still, it’s a good looking front end, and we don’t mind design elements going up as well as down.

Samsung SSD

Samsung unveils the first 256GB FlashSSD. It’s touted as “the world’s fastest and largest capacity 2.5-inch, MLC-based SSD with SATA II Interface.” Available in September. No word yet on pricing. Click here for one more picture.

Sick sequential read and sequential write speeds of 200 and 160 MBps, respectively, put it in the same speed range of more nimble single-level cell SSDs.

Water Games Technologies’ $47,000 Red Diamond bathtub is unlike any other, as in it boasts “multicolor lighting, a computer-controlled heating system that maintains your desired water temperature, an automatic disinfection system and built-in massager.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

Of course, that’s what any peasant’s tub offers — the real action is in the two retractable HDTVs, Swarovski-encrusted champagne holder, and built-in GSM module.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Xbox 360

Tecmo has just released a batch of new Ninja Gaiden 2 gameplay clips. This game, set for release on the Xbox 360 next month, runs “on an entirely new gameplay engine.” Videos after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Ninja Gaiden 2 evolves the action in the sequel with an auto-generation health system, new enemies and locales, and thrilling combat built upon an extensive assortment of ninja weaponry.

World's Biggest Drawing

Erik Nordenankar created the world’s biggest drawing using GPS data mailed “via DHL with precise travel instructions over the course of a 55 day period.” Video after the break.

When all was said and done, the GPS data formed a virtual self-portrait of the artist that spread over 6 continents and 62 countries covering nearly 70,000 miles.

Phoenix Mars Lander Pictures

After the Phoenix Mars Lander safely landed, it snapped a few pictures of the red planet’s surface and sent them to NASA. Click here for first picture in gallery.

NASA received the first signals at 7:53:44PM Eastern Time, which made engineers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California; Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Denver; and the University of Arizona, Tucson, to jump on their seats overjoyed.

Small Projector

At 160g, Earth Trek’s micro projector is claimed to be the world’s smallest (projects 22-inch diagonal image). Featuring an “SD card slot and an A/V input provided via a 3.5 mm jack, not to mention a built-in speaker.” No word yet on pricing or availability. Click here for one more picture.

While it likely won’t hold onto the (slightly dubious) title for long at the rate mini-projectors are cropping up these days, Hong Kong-based Earth Trek has nonetheless gone out and proclaimed its new 90-805R projector to be the “world’s smallest” and, indeed, it is small.
