Based on the Porsche 911, the GT3 RSR is set to compete in the American Le Mans series. It’s powered by a 4.0L boxer 6 that produces 450hp @ 7800rpm. Weight reduction was accomplished by way of aerodynamic upgrades — body styling, brakes, rear wing, etc. Click here for first picture in gallery.
About 20 of the successful long distance racers have been built in Weissach and are now being delivered to customer teams around the world. The GT3 RSR costs 380,000 Euro plus VAT specific to each country.
