You read that right, Defense Distributed, a start-up founded by Cody Wilson, has received a license to allow it to make and sell 3D-printable firearms. The blueprints are already available for free online. The company has already built several functional prototypes of 3D-printable gun parts. Continue reading for a video and more information.

Here’s what Cody Wilson has to say: “The big thing it allows me to do is that it makes me manufacture under the law – everything that manufacturers are allowed to do. I can sell some of the pieces that we’ve been making. I can do firearms transactions and transport.”
