Ken Block’s all-electric Audi S1 Hoonitron was built exclusively for Elektrikhana, which is sure to be a stunt-filled video. Technical details are sparse, but we do know that it’s powered by two electric motors and has an all-wheel drive configuration. All of this power is packaged into a carbon fiber chassis, while keeping the full safety standards as prescribed by motorsport’s top governing body, the FIA.
The Audi Grandsphere Concept was unveiled today at the Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) 2021 show in Frankfurt, and it’s touted as a “private jet for the road”. This all-electric 2+2 sedan features Level 4 autonomy, which means that it’s capable of driving fully autonomously, without any human input since it’s programmed to stop itself in the event of system failure.
Audi’s shape-shifting Skysphere Concept is a roadster unlike any that you’ve experienced before, as it offers two different driving experiences: a grand touring and sports. This is made possible with the use of a variable wheelbase that consists of electric motors and a sophisticated mechanism with body and frame components that slide into one another make it possible to expand its length by 250 millimeters, while adjusting ground clearance by 10 millimeters.
The Audi RS Q e-tron started out as a concept less than a year ago, and now it has become a reality. This off-road vehicle boasts an electrified drivetrain that will be used next January at the 2022 Dakar Rally. A grueling event for even the most powerful petrol vehicles, this 2-week marathon of sorts has stages that are up to 800 kilometers (497 miles) in length, making it the ultimate challenge for an electric drivetrain.
A concept was first shown at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, and today, the 2022 Audi E-Tron GT has officially been revealed. Available in E-Tron GT Quattro or RS E-Tron GT trims, they both feature get an all-wheel drive powertrain via electric motors, and a 93-kilowatt-hour battery, good for around 300 miles of driving range on Europe’s WLTP testing cycle. Both trims share the Porsche Taycan’s 800-volt battery architecture, complete with 270 kW charging that can recharge the pack from 5% to 80% in 22.5 minutes. DipYourCar’s Fonzie wanted to give an Audi A4 a mood ring makeover, and what better way to do so than with temperature-sensitive paint? For those who aren’t familiar with mood rings, they it’s essentially a specialized liquid crystal thermometer, wearable on the finger. A heat changing liquid that reflects different wavelengths of light which changes the color of the stone. The liquid crystal found in these rings is usually set up to display a “neutral” color at the average human skin temperature, which is approximately 93°F. The 2021 Audi E-Tron FE07 Formula E race car is sleeker and more efficient than ever, thanks to a new MGU05 motor-generator. This all-electric powertrain generates 335 horsepower that can be boosted to 382 horsepower in “attack mode,” which enables it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.88 seconds, while topping out at 149 mph. The engineering team achieved an overall efficiency of over 95 percent for the powertrain and the new MGU inverter unit has an efficiency of even more than 97 percent in all relevant driving conditions.

Straight from the factory, the Audi R8 is a fast supercar in its own right, but this one takes speed to a whole new level. Put simply, it managed to complete the quarter mile in a mere 7.695 seconds at 196.76 mph. The street tires were replaced with drag radials for improved traction, but it still managed to pop a wheelie at the start. How much would the X Version Turbo System upgrade cost for an Audi R8? No price is listed on their website, though their package right beneath (Race Version) sets you back $109,000 installed, not including the car.

The original Audi TT, first introduced in 1998, is a compact sports car available as a 2+2 coupé and as a two-seater roadster employing consecutive generations of the Volkswagen Group A platform, starting with the A4 (PQ34). In other words, it has a front-mounted transversely oriented engine, front-wheel drive or quattro four-wheel drive system, and fully independent front suspension using MacPherson struts. The Aztec Barchetta Giugiaro is an ultra rare sports car introduced by Italdesign at the 1988 Turin Motor Show, paying tribute to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the company. This two-seater is unique because the driver and passenger are separated, requiring the two parties to communicate electronically. Its speedster body style boasts partial removable visor sections that are removable and open in a gull-wing arrangement.
