Finally, an innovative laptop that will actually be released. The ASUS Fold / Unfold laptop has a keyboard that “slides backwards as you open the display to maximize room for keys, trackpad and palm rest.” Video after the break.

It may sound like sheer insanity, but it’s the right sort of crazy sauce if you ask us. ASUS is planning to make its Fold / Unfold laptop concept into a for-reals product this year, with plans to ship by Q3.

The Frazer-Nash Namir by Giugiaro is claimed to be the worlds fastest hybrid concept, powered by “an 814cc rotary engine driving a generator.” This setup allows the vehicle to go from 0-62mph in just 3.5-seconds, with a top speed of 187mph. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The generator charges a 400V lithium polymer battery pack that feeds electrons to a pair of electric motors at each axle with a cumulative output of 362 hp.

The Audi Shark may look like a futuristic one-person submarine, but it’s really a flying car concept that “seats two side-by-side — would look at home on any science fiction set.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

It’s the work of Kazim Doku, who redesigned Audi’s usual sleek stylings into a flying sportscar for the Desire Design Competition by the Italian Domus Academy.

Unlike the current version of iTunes, this concept “wouldn’t require a change of habit by iPhone/iPod Touch users: in iTunes, users see a representation of their various home screen(s), with which they can remove, move or sort apps.” Video after the break.

Sorting options are an obvious addition, so having a one-click option for that would be an immediate improvement.

More than just a concept, the Conduit cell phone prototype can essentially “be collapsed into a pocket-friendly form or expanded into a bona fide video phone.” No word yet on availability. Click here for first picture in gallery.

That said, we’d love to be proven wrong, as the Conduit is quite possibly the most fantastic phone design to ever be conceived.

Rinspeed’s zero-emissions iChange concept weighs just 2315-pounds and “is motivated by a 150-kilowatt motor, whose power is routed through a six-speed ‘pre-selector’ gearbox which Rinspeed says is borrowed from Subaru’s WRX.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

So-equipped, the iChange will whir its way to 62 miles-per-hour in just over four seconds, topping out at 220 km/h (137 mph). The car’s pure-electric drivetrain is further supplemented by a roof shingled in solar panels.

This dual monitor laptop by V12 Design is closer to becoming reality, with their new Estari partnership. Estari is basically “in the business of developing all sorts of dual screen computer things, including a 2-VU dual screen laptop from way back in 2007.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

Today, in 2009, their web page has changed to reflect the news that they’ve teamed up with V12 Design to make a laptop that looks like what the OLPC XO-2 would look like if it mated with a Lambo.
