Simply put, this futuristic vehicle is essentially “a jet powered flying bike powered by an alternative method of propulsion.” Though hovering is just as dangerous as weaving in and out of traffic, it definitely makes riding a bit more interesting. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Does that sound outrageous to you? Maybe for the moment it is, but I wont grudge Norio for fantasizing such a beauty. After all he rides a motorcycle to work almost everyday. Such fantasies must be making the ride smoother for him.

Apple is rumored to be creating a version of iChat for the next iPhone, and this concept gives us a glimpse at just how the handset may look. It’s “inspired by the curves and tapering of the Macbook Air coupled with the touch’s back.”

The thing that excites me most about these concepts, however, is not the aesthetic aspect of it. It’s the the front camera and the fact that people seem to be excited about getting videoconferencing on the iPhone.

Ever since the introduction of personal computers, the only way to get a transparent glass case would be to make your own. That’s changed with the HP LiM. It features a “19-inch transparent touch OLED screen along with a wireless keyboard.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

The touch screen slides down to create a more ergonomic touch experience and easy navigation. It also features a virtual trackpad thus cutting down on mouse costs.

Think of this gladiator helmet as snowboard goggles meets art. Featuring a special ribcage that ensure “the shades remain in place during use but also reduce friction from the usual support areas such as the nose-bridge and ears.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

The frame comes in 3 different sizes and is adjustable through a range of rubber attachments that brace the ribs on the frame.

We have seen the future of unique vacations, and it’s the Aeolus. This airship is designed to stay in the air for two weeks straight, without needing to land. Click here for first picture in gallery.

But it looks like something out of Dinotopia, and the goofy vertical design is surprisingly cool.

Created by Altec Lansing, these light bulb speakers feature a wireless attachment that can be connected to a variety of audio devices, including Apple’s iPod. Users can also wirelessly stream music via Bluetooth to supported devices. Click here for one more picture.

Like the previous version, this bulb utilizes Bluetooth to stream content to the built-in speaker. However, it also features a separate plug-in.

If Apple were to produce an urban vehicle, it may resemble these bright yet minimalist pods. The glass doors open to reveal seating for two and can also be remote-controlled — taking kids to school, etc. Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The design ofiMo is based on the Apple philosophy which consists in applying a process of elimination to come up with simple and elegant solutions, by means of cutting edge technology.

Called the Inbi-Out, this coin-sized GPS unit “tosses a 50/50 chance of where you should go, and displays the final decision on a tiny embedded screen complete with GPS coordinates and directions.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

It’ll also record every destination you go to into some magical databank for future reference (or dystopian spying). Too soon?

Sleek and stylish, the iShelf basically “brings Apple’s coverflow to your physical collection, displaying your choice albums in the now universally recognized format.” No word yet on if this concept will go into production. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Just in case you missed it, yes this is meant for a standard jewel case so no…your Burt Bacharach greatest hits box set wont fit.

If Apple were to create a keyboard with an integrated iPhone dock, it may look something like the concept above. It would let you use the iPhone’s “screen as a control surface capable of showing buttons and small apps, like the Asus Eee Keyboard.”

The idea of having a small control surface next to my keyboard, one that would morph into different user interfaces depending on the application I am running like games or iTunes makes perfect sense.
