Created by Racer X Design, the BMW RZ-M6 “is what the current 6 series could look like, by replacing body panels, yet keeping the basic structure intact.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

The modified body panels would also widen the coupe by an extra 50 mm, giving it a more aggressive stance to go along with the tribute styling.

Not your average fire hose, the Jet Spray is essentially “a hose attachment that amplifies water pressure and increases range by 30 meters.” Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on if we’ll see this in-action anytime soon. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The extra range would be helpful for aerial dispatches or from neighboring buildings – any where typical ladders can’t reach. The mechanism is quite simple, powered by a pressurized gas tank.

Not only is this wrist phone a fully-functional communications device, it’s disposable to keep costs down. Only the bare necessities are included: LED display, keypad, headset jack. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Another point in its favor is the portability factor; you can simply wrap it around your wrist. Leaving the connectivity issues aside, the phone has the potential to make its mark.

A transparent iron may be an anomaly in the home, but the technology behind this concept aims to change that. Simply put, “the soleplate is made of tempered glass — heat conduction works via a network of electro-thermal wires.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

The transparent B-IRON 725 makes getting those pesky wrinkles out and crisp creases in with ease. It takes the guess work out without sacrificing quality…or does it?

It’s sheer weirdness. This concept basically “fits over your fingers so that when you make the ‘snip snip’ scissors motion, you actually are using a scissors.” No word yet on pricing or availability.

The finger scissors are constructed from a bunch of two-dimensional metal parts, which is pretty cool in itself.

This interesting cash register concept is unlike any others. Its “touchscreen works in concert with RFID cards and salespeople — idea is to take the internet’s ability to ‘up-sell’ and apply that to everyday impulse buying.” Click here for one more picture.

The best part, is that these machines fall back asleep when they aren’t active. This accounts for most of the 90-percent less energy spent. And as Wired metions: “for a retail chain with 5,000 terminals, that’s a serious rebate.”

With a graffiti-inspired design, this skateboard provides a riding experience that is “comparable to a convertible car,” says its designer. No word yet on if this concept will go into production. Click here for first picture in gallery.

One who is used to driving a “normal” car finds driving a convertible totally wild: they’ll find the same to be true of the IPSVM board. The same is true, Kulesus says, about the trucks specifically.

Revealed yesterday at CES 2009, this ASUS concept is a folding laptop that’s inspired by folded Origami…and Battleship, apparently.” Video after the break.

As of today, CES 2009 is all Asus’ show. We’re impressed with both the hardware on display as well as the custom UIs they’ve developed to take advantage of their new touchscreen displays while waiting for Windows 7 to arrive.
