Basically, I started with a square frame built out of pine (this made the sides) and then glued a piece of MDF on the top..This gave me a five-sided cube kinda thing.

Called the Pack Chair, this piece of furniture is “made of cloth and comes rolled up in a little pack — simply unroll it and flick a switch on the side.” The artist is currently selling it through mail order, with just 5-prototypes available now.

But instead of just filling with air, the Pack Chair has a cloth body that inflates with liquid polyurethane…the chair most probably becomes a permanent fixture in your home after its deployment.
