“Tame” is basically a device that “sets a status message synced with all of your devices and applications — if you’re driving or need some privacy, you can tell Tame to handle auto-responses to your phone.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

You can store messages on each face, and when you need to change your status, just rotate the cube to the desired face. Besides a written message, Tame uses a red-yellow-green color coding system to let people know at a glance if they can contact you

Unlike other robots, this weird Japanese robot / alarm clock announces the time and is capable of rolling around when pushed. Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

I’m not entirely sure what this thing is. Here’s what I know: it’s from Japan, it has something to do with Gundam, it’s called Haro, it’s got a split personality, and it perkily yells things at you in Japanese

The Kohjinsha SR8KPO6S manages to cram a pivoting 7-inch touchscreen, Intel A110 processor (800-MHz), 1GB of RAM, 60GB HDD, CD/DVD writer, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, multi-format memory card reader, and USB ports into a svelte 2.4-pound package. Sadly, there’s nothing supernatural inside, like a portal to an alternate dimension that houses your keys until you need one. Just cut-down keys with some notches

Created by David Bue Pedersen of Volunteer Lab Rat, the Online Notification Picture Frame “will light up an LED behind the person online.” Click here for one more picture.

It’s a DIY project that connects via some interface (the guy doesn’t say) to a computer, which feeds online status information back to the display. If a person’s online, the LED next to his photo lights up
