BGR gives us a first look at the Google Android 2.0 user interface. Featuring “graphical balloon-shaped submenus are a welcome touch, and features like integrated Facebook synchronization.” No word yet on availability. More pictures after the jump.

The biggest disappointment might be that the browser seems to be little more than a minor bump from the one that’s shipping in 1.6.

Whatever you do, don’t call Google a boring company. This giant eclair was recently spotted being delivered to the Google Campus in Mountain View, CA and “was followed by the 1.6 developer release of Android just a few days later.” Video after the break.

What you probably didn’t know is that Google honors each release by dropping a steaming hot foam facsimile onto its front lawn.

The ODROID handheld could quite possibly be the first and only Android-powered handheld gaming console, and it’s definitely no slouch. Featuring a “833MHz Samsung S5PC100 CPU, 512MB RAM,” and the ability to SNES games with ease. Video after the break.

As you can probably guess, the device doesn’t flinch at a screenful of Space Megaforce sprites, but that’s not surprising given the horsepower.

Finally, the T-Mobile G1 has now been confirmed to run the GP2X emulator. In the video, you’ll see several games being demonstrated, including: Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Samurai Showdown, and Super Mario World. Continue reading to watch.

Have a peek at a “pre-alpha” demonstration video just past the break, and feel free to let your hopes and expectations reach new heights.

Not only will the Motorola Calgary be the company’s first Google Android-powered handset, but also the only CDMA phone to run the OS. According to early rumors, “the QWERTY slider will focus on social networking — presumably in the same vein as the new Sidekick.”

As long as they don’t lock it the hell down, could be sweet, and not just for Moto, who needs a hit phone, or Verizon, who just needs better phones.
