NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080

Just when you thought the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was a formidable video card, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti comes along. This top-of-the-line consumer GPU allegedly features 11GB of GDDR6 memory, complete with 4,352 CUDA cores, which is 20% more than the existing 3584 CUDA cores found on the GTX 1080 Ti. The company will officially launch the GeForce RTX series on Monday, showcasing their real-time ray-tracing abilities, which enables games to render new real-time lighting effects, all based on the company’s new Turing architecture. NVIDIA Quadro RTX Turing

Finally, NVIDIA announced the company’s first products containing a new generation of graphics technology late Monday based on its Turing architecture, which excels at designing games and other content. “Turing is NVIDIA’s most important innovation in computer graphics in more than a decade. Hybrid rendering will change the industry, opening up amazing possibilities that enhance our lives with more beautiful designs, richer entertainment and more interactive experiences. The arrival of real-time ray tracing is the Holy Grail of our industry,” said CEO Jensen Huang. They GPUs will be available in three different models: Quadro RTX 8000 (48GB memory / $10,000), the Quadro RTX 6000 (24GB memory / $6,300) and the Quadro RTX 5000 (16GB memory / $2,300).
