The first Iron Man 2 movie picture has surfaced, and it shows Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) sporting “a power pack on his chest that looks similar to the one used by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).” No word yet on an official release date.

The character’s alter ego, Ivan Vanko, is a Russian who, Favreau says, “has constructed his own version of a suit.” Among the creative alterations: a pair of whips, powered by the suit’s glowing chest piece, expected to keep Iron Man cracking.

Originally it was going to be called the MK IV armor and would have been weaponized swap-out parts that would be worn over the original MK III armor.

Yes, a seller is offering this wearable Iron Man suit on eBay. Unfortunately, “this action is not for the entire costume, but a prop like the one seen in Tony Starks garage hanging from the ceiling.” Auction page. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The helmet can be taken of to be worn and is a one piece helmet. The replica can light up in the eyes and chest with some electroluminescent technology. The entire armor is made in high quality glass/fiber materials.

Arc Reactor

If you’ve always wanted to build your own non-functional Arc Reactor, just like Tony Stark, then check out this tutorial. Supplies needed include: “LEDs, a 9-volt battery, plywood, 22 AWG gauge copper wire, assorted resistors, and a substance called polymorph.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

Unfortunately, it’s just papier-mache with a great finish. What this guy fails to realize is that being Tony Stark is not a matter of arc reactors and metal suits.

Flying is fun, the upgrades are neat, and the game can look good. However, these pros are outweighed by the aforementioned frustration, crappy storyline and lame cutscenes.
