At first glance, or at least from the picture, this looks like a Lamborghini, but upon closer inspection, you’ll notice something is off. That’s because it’s actually a highly modified Nissan 300ZX coupe with 70,000 km on the odometer. Unfortunately, you won’t find a beastly 720hp V12 engine underneath, but rather a 3.0L V6 Twin Turbo DOHC petrol engine. Continue reading for more pictures.

You know you’re a geek, when…seeing Batman on the way to work, in a Lamborghini Gallardo convertible nonetheless, actually brightens your day. Since we’re on the subject of the Dark Knight, did you know that by 1964, sales on Batman titles had fallen so drastically DC was “planning to kill Batman off altogether,” according to creator and artist Bob Kane? No, the slick Lamborghini Aventador pictured above hasn’t been Photoshopped, it’s just an awesome galaxy-themed wrap owned by a member of the Vancouver-based Deluxe Supercar Club. The 2013 Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster was announced for production in November 2012, equipped with the same V12 engine as the coupe version, Lamborghini claims again that it can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and a top speed equaling that of the coupe, at 349 km/h (217 mph). Unlike Lamborghini’s other models, the Egoista features a chassis made from lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum “finished in a military-grade, radar-resistant paint to highlight the vehicle’s stealth capabilities,” according to Car Scoops. Under the hood, you’ll find a tuned Lamborghini Gallardo Mk1 5.2L V10 that produces 592hp. That’s not all, its cockpit boasts a removable carbon fiber survival survival cell, along with anti-glare windows in an orange hue. Just picked up your shiny (or flat) Lamborghini Aventador and want to show it off in London? Well, one thing you should never do is drive even slightly faster than normal down the city’s narrow streets, or else you may end up with an airborne supercar, like this unlucky fellow. Sure, the Aventador may have had the right of way, but turning a few heads definitely isn’t worth the risk, as you’re about to see.

The Lamborghini Pregunta was the result of a partnership with the Italian branch of the French Carrosserie Heuliez in 1998. It’s based on a modified Lamborghini Diablo chassis, running rear-wheel-drive (instead of the Diablo’s four-wheel-drive system) and is powered by a 530bhp V12 engine; good for a top speed of 207mph. Continue reading for a video of it racing a fighter jet and more information.

Sure, it’s nothing like the Dubai police car fleet, but the LAPD does have something up its sleeve, a Lamborghini Gallardo to be exact. Here’s where the story gets interesting…fiber optics company owners Nathale and Travis Marg donated the use of their supercar, complete with its V10 sitting squarely in the middle, to the department for use in a good, but not exciting way.
