Trying to draw something with your MacBook’s trackpad can be a hassle, but this user-friendly app makes it as simple as can be. Called Inklet, it “uses the multitouch trackpad interface to sense where and when you’re touching the pad, and then translates that into drawing marks just like a Wacom pen tablet.” Video after the break.

Inklet requires Snow Leopard to work, so if you’re running anything pre-10.6, you’re out of luck. The software is $24.95, and their website has been brought to its knees by recent press, so you can download it from Apple’s site if you can’t reach it the official way.

Retaining the arctic white color of its predecessor, Apple’s new MacBook has just received a unibody makeover. The base model ($999) boasts a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, NVIDIA 9400M GPU, 13.3-inch widescreen LED display, and a slot-loading SuperDrive. The surface is super slick (AKA super fingerprint friendly), though the base of the laptop utilizes a soft-touch, non-slip surface that’s nice to handle.

From afar, this netbook might be mistaken for a MacBook, but it’s actually a knockoff, called the MacBook Mini. This $280 netbook features a 1.6-GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 160GB HDD, 1GB of memory, and an SD card slot. Click here for first picture in gallery.

At first glance this MacBook knockoff doesn’t look all that bad, but by picture three it looks like week old garbage.

The pic above lines up pretty well with all the rumors we’ve heard so far — which sort of helps and sort of hinders its veracity in our eyes.

Here’s a first look at the MacBook Micro, which looks to have dual touchscreen displays and is smaller than a standard netbook or tablet PC. Continue reading for a very brief video.

It doesn’t make this thing feel any more “real,” but what else were you planning on doing today outside of looking at Apple rumors?

Ok, so rapper/actor Ice-T doesn’t exactly bring this MacBook Pro back to a fully-functional state, but rather performs “the kinds of ‘repairs’ you can only do with a clawhammer.” Video after the break.

As he says in the video, “if any of you people out there really have a love affair with Macs, this’ll be hard to watch.”

From afar, it may look like a MacBook with an iPhone plugged into it, but this entire creation is actually a cake, “complete with a highly detailed keyboard, and LCD display with an on-screen message to its lucky recipient.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

There’s even a matching Mighty Mouse, and a few other random desktop accessories – including pens made out of sugar. Yum.
