Instagram user Ksenia from Russia combined her love of both cats and food into one, using Adobe’s ever so popular Photoshop software. Whether it be a croissant, blueberries, sushi, or cookies, you’ll find these bizarre mashups and more. “I always wanted to create something funny and this is what I came up with at the end of January and launched my Instagram account,” said Ksenia. Photography Mirror Illusion Trick

At first glance, some of these photos by Mathias Fast may look Photoshopped, but it’s just a clever photography illusion that involves a phone’s display. “I’m hardly the first person to use it but ‘discovered’ it for myself at a wedding one day when I was photographing the bride getting ready. The bridesmaids had their phones lying on the table and I saw the reflections they were creating. I realized that at the right angle and distance I could incorporate the reflection(s) into a photograph while disguising the fact that they were coming from a phone. When I’m photographing, my eyes are constantly being drawn to anything remotely reflective that I can use to frame the subject with,” Mathias told Bored Panda. Continue reading for the tutorial.

Graphic artists at Ogilvy & Mather was commissioned by KFC Hong Kong to create an interesting ad campaign unlike any other the public has seen. So, they got to work and came up with the series that you see above, starting with a space shuttle launch, but with the fiery explosion and smoke being replaced with pieces of fried chicken. Nohoch Mul Pyramid

Coba is basically an ancient Mayan city on the Yucatan Peninsula, located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. It features the largest network of stone causeways of the ancient Mayan world, and contains many engraved, sculpted stelae that document ceremonial life of the Late Classic Period (AD 600-900) of Mesoamerican civilization. The Nohoch Mul Pyramid stands 137 feet tall and boasts a remarkable view of the Yucatan as well as the non-public areas of Coba including both lagoons; Macanxoc Lagoon to the east and Coba Lagoon to the southwest.
