This Portal clone was supposedly built in just 3-weeks, with Unity — basically an integrated authoring tool that enables developers to create 3D games on the iPhone. Video after the break.

For your information, they [Valve] don’t seem to bother about us doing a prequel for Portal. They’re even sending us their congratulations and they seem to enjoy what we’re doing.

Bootant’s Crazy Choppers for the iPhone / iPod Touch crams five locales, tilt controls, and a weapons upgrade system, into a soon to be released $0.99 App Store game. Plus, the controls “can be calibrated at any time during by pausing the game.” Video after the break.

Could these be the first pictures of Google Chrome OS? These spy shots apparently came from an Acer employee who was “privy to a brief demonstration of a Private Developer Beta.” Click here for first picture in gallery.

They showed a full installation, which took about 10 minutes. After installation was done, desktop to desktop reboot took about 25 seconds.

Toy Raid by Flying Tiger Entertainment is a fun and addictive shooter game for the iPhone / iPod Touch. Featuring accelerometer (or touch) controls and a host of action-packed levels for your enjoyment. At $0.99, we definitely recommend giving this game a shot. Continue reading for a video.

For $4.99, the Dirt Moto Racing iPhone / iPod Touch game features “a pounding 12-song soundtrack, online leaderboards, 21 unlockable achievements, 36 unique game events, and customizable rider and vehicle.” Video after the break.

In all, it’s really a great game that offroad racer fans have reason to embrace. The controls feel “right,” the physics are solid and it’s just a great off-road racer that stands as the king of the genre in the App Store.

Not your standard first person shooter game, Doom Resurrection for the iPhone has players following a pre-determined path; while shooting “uses an accelerometer controlled reticule that is used to target the enemies.” Video after the break.

The game includes 4 levels of difficulty from Recruit to Nightmare. Your performance in each of the eight levels is graded on an A-F scale based on your headshots, time, and item pickups and secrets found.

Available soon through the App Store and priced at $4.99, 3D Rollercoaster Rush by Digital Chocolate is set in a wild west theme park with “40 different action-packed rollercoaster tracks.” Video after the break.

You see, you are in control of the speed of said coaster (via accelerometer tilt) as it hurtles down its rather ambitious track layout.

Sony has unveiled the official Q*Bert game for Apple’s iPhone. Featuring “gameplay through 20 rounds across 5 challenging levels. Or, if you prefer your Q*bert smooooth, choose Modern mode for updated graphics.” Video after the break.

Being an isometric game, Q*Bert involves diagonal movement across those ziggurats of glowing pixel goodness that is, by default, controlled with directional swipes anywhere on the screen.

Developed zwstudio, Professional Police Training is a Police Trainer-inspired tap shooting game for the iPhone. Featuring “5 different types of skills to test: Accuracy, Reaction, Color and Shape, Judgement and Speed.” Available now through the App Store, priced at $0.99. Video after the break.

Check out the video to see how it plays. I tend to find it hard to recommend any tap shooters, but this one carries some familiarity that some may enjoy.
