Gameloft’s upcoming Terminator Salvation iPhone game looks to be a third-person shooter, complete with robots, massive weapons, and lots more. No word yet on pricing or availability. Trailer after the break.
The trailer for Gameloft’s iPhone version of its upcoming Terminator: Salvation game leaked, and we’re pretty impressed. We can’t tell how the controls will work, but the graphics and gameplay really do look great.

I found the overall flow of the onscreen action to make for a great shooter experience with a real arcade feel. Siberian Strike impressed me as one of the best shooters I’ve encountered for the iPhone.

Developed by Theo Watson in just one day, the Spinning Vinyl iPod Touch app basically turns the player into a virtual turntable, allowing you to control the speed of any song that’s being played. Video after the break.
I wish it could also scratch the album, like a real vinyl. Then I would buy it, if it ever gets released in the app store.

Finally, Apple has added the cut and paste function in their iPhone OS 3.0 software. Basically, “when you double-tap over text, you will get a “cut, copy, and paste” bubble dialog.” Click here for the live event gallery.
This works across applications. You can expand your selection points using your thumbs and, if you accidentally paste something you didn’t want to paste, just shake your iPhone to undo it.
