PlayStation 5

Since Sony is a part of the Blu-ray Disc Founders Group, it would be very fitting of them to give the format one last hurrah before going fully digital, and the PlayStation 5 could be the perfect game console to do so. In the concept above, an opening around the edge of the circle enables users to slide discs directly into the console. Continue reading for more pictures and information.

Portable PlayStation 4

The PlayStation 4 may be on its way out for the next-generation model, but Sony has yet to release a portable version. This custom solution, by “My Mate Vince”, could be the next best thing, as it “allows you to play your PS4 locally within Bluetooth range on a handheld screen with no lag (very little, not noticeable).” It’s better than Remote Play since you have a full 1080p, even on PS4 and PS4 Slim, and no latency. “It has a 1080p 10″ screen which looks lovely. By using Wireless HDMI and the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con it makes it possible to mimic the best feature of the Wii U which is the 2nd handheld screen,” adds Vince. Next-Gen PSP

The Sony PS Vita is a nice portable console, but let’s face it, the PSP is long overdue for a refresh, and this is what a next-generation device could look like if it had an edge-to-edge OLED display. However, this will have to come at a sacrifice, in the form of two notches that are unfortunately the controllers required to play the games. It does retain the classic rounded shape, and would most likely be released in a variety of colors, including the original grey color. Continue reading to see it in-action and for more pictures.

Nintendo Switch Sony Watchman
It’s not everyday that you see a Sony Watchman pocket CRT television, much less one running Nintendo Switch games. However, all is not as it seems, especially since the Switch isn’t physically connected to the miniature television, but rather the games are broadcast to through the VCR and the RF antenna. From what we can see, Breath of the Wild, Metal Slug and Mario Kart all seem to run fairly well with no noticeable lag.
