Two years after Disney officially announced “AVATAR Land”, set to be located inside Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom, the company has released the first amazing pictures of what the Orlando-based attraction will look like. The largest expansion in the history of the park, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs unveiled concept art at D23 Expo this week in Tokyo. What you’re looking at above is Angel Falls, a natural wonder located in Canaima National Park, Venezuela. It’s currently the world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall at a height of 979m (3,212ft) and a plunge of 807m (2,648ft). CNN states that “Angel Falls is so high that some of the water evaporates before it even reaches the pool below. Foodies have probably heard of, or experienced, Modern Toilet, a unique bathroom-themed restaurant chain, based in Taiwan, with several branches throughout Asia. Well, now a similar restaurant has opened up in the City of Industry, CA. This timeless structure is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace situted on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Fussen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. Currently, over 60 million people have visited Neuschwanstein Castle (1.3 million people annually), with up to 6,000 per day in the summer. Zaha Hadid Architects unveils a new futuristic, high-tech floating building for Dubai. It’s called the Opus Office Tower, and features a cubed-design with a large void in the center, splitting the building into two structures. You’ve seen some bizarre Street View sightings, now check out some exotic places from around the world this weekend. Google Street View displays panoramas of stitched images taken from a fleet of specially adapted cars.
