File this under: Creative Uses for the Gameboy. The iBoy is basically the coolest iPod case we’ve seen, though a bit bulkly. Plus, it sports “an internal dock connector — buttons on the Gameboy were wired up to control the iPod.” More pictures after the jump.

The on/off switch is wired so that the buttons only work if it is in the “on” position (like with the Game Boy, the battery light indicates that these functions are turned on). Essentially, it is a hold switch with an indicator light…in case you ever want to put this mammoth in your pocket

Samsung’s upcoming SCH-W559 is the company’s first handset to use Immersion’s VibeTonz technology on a touchscreen. Other features include a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and audio/video playback. Here’s how the vibrating touchscreen works:

The unit’s QVGA touchscreen is meant to be a hands-on experience, and whether you use a stylus or the tips of your finger, the phone will provide a vibrating cue, which can be adjusted and customized within the phone’s software, whenever you touch a virtual button. Immersion claims that its technology allows the on-screen buttons to feel more like “mechanical keys” rather than just a sheet of plastic

Designed by Hee Yong, this nifty Rubik’s Cube-inspired MP3 player is both a puzzle and music player in one. No word yet on if this concept will go into production.

To turn it on you simply need to start playing with the cube and each layer has a different function like play, pause or skip. I assume you need to properly align certain columns or rows to get it to do what you want and of course the only way to turn the player off is to complete the puzzle
