Steven Ortiz from Glendora, 17, wasn’t satisfied working a regular job during high school. So, he decided to buy old cell phones from friends, fix them up, and re-sell for a profit on Craigslist. After several years, and many phones later, he was able to purchase a 2000 Porsche Boxster. Video after the break.
Ortiz’s skill at identifying a good deal started years ago when he would buy cell phones off of his friends. At $30 each, he would turn around and sell the used cell phones online for three times the amount he paid.
