Elon Musk’s Tesla Cybertruck event on Thursday night may have appeared to be a disaster at first, but everything could have went exactly as planned, broken windows and all. The one standout had to be the Cyberquad electric ATV, which has been confirmed to be an option for the Cybertruck. What you may not know is that it’s actually based on the Yamaha Raptor platform. Read more for an up-close look and additional information.

In stock form, the Yamaha Raptor 700R is an all terrain vehicle (ATV) powered by a 686cc single cylinder four-valve electronically fuel injected engine (approximately 47 hp), with electric start and paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Tesla’s Cyberquad swapped out that engine for all new internals, but unfortunately, performance and battery specifications have not yet been announced.
