If you thought the Tesla Model S P100D was quick, check out the Tesla GT, which has a power output of 778 horsepower and a zero-to-60 time of two seconds flat. It’s half a second faster than the Porsche 918 Spyder, thanks to dropping 1,100-pounds from the curb weight, while boosting torque to 734 lb-ft. “Each race weekend will include a 20 minute practice session, a 60 minute qualifying session, a 60 km day race and a 60 km dusk race. Among the circuits included in the inaugural season will be the Nurburgring, Estoril and Paul Ricard,” reports Car Scoops.
