Designed to appear as a normal briefcase, Heckler & Koch fabricated a solid polymer and aluminum box with a thin plastic lid, measuring 20″ x 15″ x 5″. Inside, it conceals an HK MP5K – “K” is the shorty version of the classic MP5 submachine gun – that’s securely by a STANAG claw mount.
This weapon weighs a mere 4.4-pounds, and is 12.8-inches long overall with a 4.5-inch barrel. It boasts a cyclic rate of 900rpm, or in other words, it could burn through a 15 or 30-round magazine in 1-2 seconds respectively. What most may not know about the MP5, is that the first models utilized a double-column straight box magazine, but since 1977, they come equipped with slightly curved, steel magazines with a 15-round capacity or a 30-round capacity.
