Yes, this is actually a fully functional GSM cell phone stuffed into an old rotary phone. It makes an interesting conversation piece to say the least.

2. Wearable Cell Phone Booth

Put simply, this wearable cell phone booth is one of the strangest accessories we’ve come across. Created by Jenny Chowdhury, it’s basically “a wearble object you can carry around with you and set up when you need a moment to talk”.

The project prompts people to take stock in how cell phone technology has altered the ways in which we communicate with each other and the environment surrounding us.


1. NES Controller Cell Phone Mod

Sam Garfield managed to cram a Nokia 3200 phone into a standard NES controller after countless hours of hacking. Even though this isn’t the prettiest mod, everything is fully functional — including the speaker and microphone.

The select and start buttons were easy, and I simply cut them into the shape I needed with a pair of scissors. The buttons can the be glued or taped into place. Just make sure they do not intrude into the inside space of the controller

Anyone who handles paper currency should give the Mobile Torch a try. This cell phone accessory is capable of detecting fake bank notes that are missing special watermarks normally invisible to the naked eye.
