According to MSNBC, the devastating tornado that ripped through Joplin, Missouri this past Sunday evening was unlike any other, in that it transformed from a standard funnel cloud to a monstrous twister in under 10-minutes. Meteorologist Andy Boxell says that “the tornado easily rated EF-3 on the Enhanced Fujita scale, meaning it had winds anywhere from 136 to 165 mph.” Click here for the first picture in gallery.
