You know what they say…one man’s pile of trash is an artist’s amazing work, or at least in Bernard Pras’ case. When peered at through viewfinder, random piles of junk, such as an old sofa, guitar, and lamp, transform into a stunning portrait of a soldier. This French artist spent much of his childhood in a toy store, and likes to use recycled material to re-imagine classics such as “The Wave” and “Starry Night.” Specializing in junk collages, he’s completed portraits of Jack Nicholson from “The Shining” and even turned the iconic Uncle Sam poster into a 3D piece.
