Matthew Riese has always been fond of the DeLorean, but wanted to create a model like no other. So, he spent 2-years creating the world’s first and only DeLorean hovercraft, powered by a 16 hp engine capable of hitting a top speed of 23 mph. It’s based on the Hov Pod hovercraft kit, but with a fully custom DeLorean body. “If making this makes me crazy, I don’t wanna be sane,” said Riese.
