Lamborghini Brings Its Hybrid Hypercars to Life at True Scale in Your Own Space on Apple Vision Pro

Lamborghini just released a new app built for the Apple Vision Pro. Current hybrid models from the lineup take center stage with high-fidelity digital versions ready for close examination. Models include the Temerario and Revuelto on the two-seater hypercar side while the Urus SE and Urus SE Performante bring the performance SUV offerings into view, with the latter appearing in complete detail ahead of its physical introduction at Goodwood. Two modes shape how each car appears. One mode places the model directly into the user’s real environment so it can occupy full scale next to existing furniture or adjust smaller to match available room. A second mode moves everything into a dedicated digital space created with Lamborghini’s design direction in mind.

Natural inputs drive every movement and interaction with the car, as eye tracking and hand movements let you to walk around it completely, go up close to examine surface details, or take a step back to view the overall design. Rendering is so advanced that it has a noticeable impact on the details, as you can see how well the panels fit together and how the materials and light interact with them. With a simple flip of your palm, you can see what’s beneath practically every body panel, including how the carbon fiber is laid out, how the spaceframe appears, and what the hybrid engine is all about. You can examine how the electric components work alongside the engine and its supporting systems.

In addition to mechanical observations, animated airflow simulations are used. They employ flowing streamlines to demonstrate how the aerodynamics function on the outside of the car, such as how it adjusts to increase downforce or airflow when conditions change, and spatial audio to complete the picture. You can hear the engines because each one has its own distinct sound, which varies depending on where you are in the automobile. When you move to one area, it makes a distinct sound. When you move to another, the sound changes somewhat, just as it would in real life.


For Lamborghini enthusiasts, design provides an additional layer on top of it. There are original 3D sketches from the Centro Stile team, as well as designer notes on how they created some of the characteristic elements, such as the Y-shaped lights and hexagonal shapes. These elements connect the visual identity to the engineering priorities of each car. All of this is contained within a single app that can be downloaded from the App Store, and you don’t need anything other than the headset to get started. This entire package provides anyone who are interested in Lamborghini hybrid engineering and design with an extremely simple way to proceed at their preferred pace and size.


Tim Bravo, Lamborghini’s director of communications, explained the concept behind this project, stating that it allows you to get up close to the raw emotion and engineering know-how of these cars in a way that seems absolutely natural and magical.
