Set to premier on June 4, Disney+’s Star Wars The Acolyte takes place at the end of the High Republic era in a world of “shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers”,” roughly 100 years before the events of Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
Jedi Master Sol (Lee Jung-Jae) aims to solve the mysterious murder of a number of Jedi, but instead brings him face-to-face with former Padawan, Mae (Amandla Stenberg) and several other Jedi including a character played by Carrie-Anne Moss in a canteen. Stream the eight episode series beginning on June 4, 2024.

Leslye Headland created the series, based on Star Wars by George Lucas, and serves as an executive producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King and Jason Micallef. Charmaine DeGraté and Kor Adana are the co-executive producers. Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim and Rob Bredow are the producers,” said Disney.
