Set for release in theaters on August 16, this new Alien Romulus trailer previews the terrifying world of facehuggers in space. This film is directed by Fede Alvarez and follows a group of space colonizers as they traverse into the deep ends of a derelict space station.
It stars Cailee Spaeny (Rain Carradine), David Jonsson (Andy), Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced (Kay), Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu. Fans will be happy to know that Alien: Romulus was produced by Ridley Scott, who also directed the original Alien and produced / directed the series’ entries Prometheus as well as Alien: Covenant. There’s no word yet on if we’ll see a guest appearance by Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley, but we’re leaning towards a yes.
