The face you see above is a reconstructed “Stonehenge Man” who once lived 5500-years ago. Forensic analysis enabled scientists to create the most lifelike model yet of an individual from British prehistory, and their work also reveals how he lived, ate, along with possibly shedding some light on the origins of Stonehenge itself. This well-preserved skeleton was first discovered in an elaborate tomb in the 1860s, the face was been brought to life by Swedish sculptor Oscar Nilsson, using information from bone and tooth analysis. After measuring the length of the man’s bones, the skeleton’s weight, and his age, it’s estimated that he died between 25 and 40 years old. Rorsach inkblots were then used to compare Norman to other AI which hadn’t been exposed to the same gruesome images. Continue reading for another video and more information.

Photography Mirror Illusion Trick

At first glance, some of these photos by Mathias Fast may look Photoshopped, but it’s just a clever photography illusion that involves a phone’s display. “I’m hardly the first person to use it but ‘discovered’ it for myself at a wedding one day when I was photographing the bride getting ready. The bridesmaids had their phones lying on the table and I saw the reflections they were creating. I realized that at the right angle and distance I could incorporate the reflection(s) into a photograph while disguising the fact that they were coming from a phone. When I’m photographing, my eyes are constantly being drawn to anything remotely reflective that I can use to frame the subject with,” Mathias told Bored Panda. Continue reading for the tutorial.
