Why bother with smartwatches, when you could just wear FlexEnable’s OLCD (organic liquid crystal display)? This early prototype was encased in a stiff metal frame, and could be incorporated into future mobile devices. Unfortunately, the technology has not yet progressed to the point where the displays can be flexed freely, but on the bright side, flexible OLED displays could be on smartphones as early as next year. SFX and makeup artist Justyna Sosnowska, also known as “Sosenka”, is a big fan of cosplay, and has the skills to transform herself into several famous characters, like Dragon Ball Z’s Majin Buu, without computer-generated imagery. While she holds a Landscape Architecture degree, her interest in SFX makeup began in 2014, and took off from there. “I fell in love with what I do. From various technical methods of mapping the images of the characters to strengthening certain personality traits such as patience, precision, succession in pursuit of the goal,” said Sosenka. This one-off vehicle by Jurgen Eberle comes equipped with a pair of portal axles that increase the ride height to 16-inches, while a set of 31-inch tires have been fitted, and the overall track widened by 8-inches. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe may be fun to play on the Nintendo Switch, but this takes racing to the next level. Seth Bling is a programmer who has an affinity for Mario games as well as artificial intelligence. So, he decided to combine these two to create MariFlow, a neural network that has been designed to play Super Mario Kart. To train the AI, it was shown 15 hours of video of his father’s play style, and at the end, it managed to to win gold in the 50cc Mushroom Cup. Ringbrothers took a 1969 Dodge Charger and transformed it into the “Defector” after over 4,700-hours of work. This modified version retains the original’s muscle car styling, while shortening the rear end by 2-inches and extending the wheelbase by 3-inches to open up the rear wells to showcase the custom 19-inch HRE machined wheels, and adding a lower front valence.
