This record was set in Pahrump, Nevada by factory test driver Niklas Lilja, and it’s been confirmed by the video above, with 277.9mph registering on the speedometer, shattering the previous record of 267.8mph set by a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport in 2010. A gamer known as “AkiraModz” in the online modding community has created a portable Nintendo GameCube, called The Varia Cube, and it’s a doozy. The case itself was handcrafted from a Nintendo GameCube ASCII keyboard and then painted in a Samus Aran Varia Suit-inspired paint scheme.
