Hennessey’s Venom F5 may be capable of hitting 301mph, but as far as official records stand, there’s a new king of the road, and it’s the Koenigsegg Agera RS. This record was set in Pahrump, Nevada by factory test driver Niklas Lilja, and it’s been confirmed by the video above, with 277.9mph registering on the speedometer, shattering the previous record of 267.8mph set by a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport in 2010.
