Lada Transformers Robot

Gennadiy Kocherga and his son Sergey from Russia spent nearly 6-months transforming their old VAZ-2110 Lada into a real-life Transformers robot, complete with automatic weapons. “It looks like a world-class car, it can drive and shoot, it performs the same tricks as seen in the film, in the cartoons. The next year, we plan to build another two cars, based on the same concept. We already have a lot of quirky ideas,” said Gennadiy. Amazon Moon Base

Amazon’s Jeff Bezos revealed that he would eventually like to see millions of people living and working in space, during a Q&A session at Seattle’s Museum of Flight. “I think we should build a permanent human settlement on one of the poles of the moon. It’s time to go back to the moon, but this time to stay,” said Bezos. Rockets from Blue Origin, a company also owned by Bezos, will land near the Shackleton Crater on the south pole, an area with constant sunlight. These rockets could deliver up to 10,000-pounds of goods to help establish the first human colonies. Click here to view the first image in this week’s funny work pictures gallery. When off-road dune buggy meets go-kart, you get the Ariel Nomad. Featuring a tubular exoskeleton chassis, both for optimum structural rigidity and safety, it’s powered by a 2.4L Honda-sourced K24 4-cylinder engine that generates 230 horsepower and 220 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to a 6-speed close ratio manual gearbox. That’s plenty of power for the 1,480-pound vehicle, enabling it to rocket from 0-60 mph in just 3.4-seconds, while topping out at 125 mph. One caveat: you’ll have to shell out $90,450 for the tactical variant of the Nomad. Click here to view the first image in today’s viral picture gallery.
