The Huntress Land Rover

East Coast Defender specializes in customizing Land Rovers, and “The Huntress” is definitely no slouch. Based on the Land Rover Defender 130, this off-road SUV is no powered by a Corvette-sourced 6.2L LS3 V8 engine producing 430-horsepower, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Suspension wise, it was lifted 2-inches, fitted with 18 inch Boost wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires, and equipped with a tubular WARN winch up front. Saturn North Pole

NASA’s Cassini spacecraft took its final dive into Saturn’s rings on April 26th, showing them like we’ve never seen before. Now, the agency has revealed the first true color images of Saturn’s North Pole, created by astroparticle physicist Sophia Nasr. In this region, there’s a never-ending hurricane with 300+ mile per hour winds, and previous images showed the area in a reddish hue. California-based director Ian Pfaff wanted to pay tribute to Mad Max: Fury Road, but in a way that his children could also enjoy as well. So, he decided to take a couple Little Tykes Cozy Coupes, and transform them into vehicles that appear to be straight from the film, weapons, rust, apocalyptic paint job, and all. Supplies used include: old computer parts, a decommissioned espresso machine, bike chains, random toys, and plenty of metal scrapyard pieces.
