Google’s Nexus One may be the best Android-powered smartphone to be released yet, but do you know what went on during its concept and design process? If not, Google’s Erick Tseng among others talk “about the Nexus One’s unprecedented fusion of bleeding-edge hardware and software design” after the break.

One of them is already available — the desktop dock — but the other two appear to be a standard desktop dock with an integrated spare battery charger and the nav-friendly car dock on the left and right, respectively.

Remember the movie BIG, starring Tom Hanks? There’s a rumor circulating on Twitter that his character, Josh Baskin, actually invented the Amazon Kindle during the “final presentation to the MacMillan toy executives.” For those who have the movie, you can skip to that scene for confirmation. In that scene, Baskin hypothesizes an electronic reader for comic books, and many of the advantages he suggests for it could be taken straight from a Bezos press release.
