The exterior of Boeing’s Dreamliner 787 may be nothing special, but its interior is another story. In the video — embedded after the break, you’ll see “a custom interior by Greenpoint Technologies that sports a full conference room, two bedrooms, self-contained airstairs, as well as a full bathroom complete with bathtub and wall-sized mirror in the rear of the aircraft.”

The company also says the new material will hold up better to the wear and tear of flight than traditional aluminum. Boeing says it has orders for more than 850 of the planes, which officially sell for around $150 million each.

Verizon charged customer Ted Estarija a hefty $21,917 in overage charges after his son used 1.4 million kilobytes (1.33GB) of data. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but Ted didn’t have a limited / unlimited data plan active for the phone. However, Verizon just may waive the fees due to the story going public. *Update* It works out to be approximately $16/MB and not $1.99/MB as originally stated.

Apparently, the father made the bankruptcy-worthy mistake of failing to set the family up on a real data plan.

The geekiness began when he decided to cut all cable, phone and internet services at their home. You know what they say: “the love of money is the root of all evil.”

She eventually found out he was hiding his lottery winnings and asked for her share of the money, but he refused. Campbell went to court to fight Ramdass, but lost since she didn’t have any right to Ramdass’ winnings.

The problem with texting while walking is that you can’t really see what’s in front without having to move your phone. Type n Walk aims to change that. This iPhone app basically “displays a transparent viewport of what’s directly in front of you.” Video after the break.

Type n Walk was designed to work with your favorite apps — not try to replace them. Use it to compose your email, text message, status update, or tweet and paste it into your target app (or the browser) to send.
