Underwater City

Though not fully submerged, the “Underwater City” in Bulgaria is “a town built in the middle of a lake, not on an island, but actually below water level.” Click here for one more picture.

This is going to be done via the construction of a huge circular dike that’ll be a whopping 1,377 feet in diameter and 65 feet high. People will be able to access the recessed city by boat, heading down into it to see the city.

The car that will debut at SEMA was fortified with a Vortech supercharger that bumps the 6.1-liter Hemi V8 to 560 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. It rides slightly lower on a KW coil-over suspension kit and 22-inch Foose Challenger wheels wrapped in Nitto tires.

Ultimate Ninja Storm is fun and the fast-paced battles look and feel very tight. I have to once again reiterate just how incredible this game looks. Say what you will about the gameplay, but watching these characters perform Ultimate Jutsu is certainly a sight to behold.

Gesture Control

Mgestk Technologies unveils a new gesture control system that “makes use of nothing more than an ‘affordable 3D camera’ and some custom software to capture even small hand gestures.” Video after the break.

What’s more, while Mgestyk already has a waiting list going, they aren’t making any promises about an actual release date just yet, or a price for that matter, with them only saying that it’ll be “in the range of a high-end webcam.”

Video of Xbox 360 integration after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

If you’re a Gears fan that’s on the fence about buying a Zune, this is a pretty viable option considering all the GoW extras you get. $279 gets you the 120GB version (which will be outdated in two years when Gears of War 3 debuts).

The 6.1 ch sound system makes the music very realistic. Each character speaker plays it own independent channel, and each character moves in synchronicity to that sound.
