Brian Henderson of the Ben Heck forums — an incredible video game modder who’s completed many portable systems in the past — has unveiled the SNESp (#5). Everything was made from scratch, and to top thing off, laser-cutting company Pololu helped finish off the stunning case. That’s not all, Brian says that he’s taken all the “learned from making this portable and already designed the next revision.” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Video game modder extraordinaire Ben Heck is back at it again, and this time he reveals the world’s first right-handed Xbox 360 controller. Even more surprising, it took him just a few hours to build. Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

As with other single-handed controllers I’ve put the left analog stick on the bottom so it can be actuated by tilting the controller against your leg.

Master video game modder Ben HEck is back at it again, and this time, he’s built a custom Atari 800 Laptop. It features a 15-inch display, Atari XEGS motherboard, and a flush-mount cartridge slot. Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Ben Heck has overhauled his Xbox 360 portable by giving it an integrated Ethernet port, digital push button volume control, improved ventilation, flush-mount DVD drive, and the Jasper motherboard. Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The internal layout is almost identical to the previous model, though now there’s a better bracket to hold the fans, the hard drive connector is aligned via the case, and the DVD door is thick like the side of the case but sits flush inside it.

Ben Heck has done it again, created yet another custom gaming laptop. What you’re looking at above is basically “a fully functional Commodore 64 laptop using actual hardware, specifically the C64C motherboard which was one of the last and smallest revisions.” Video after the break. The laptop houses original Commodore 64 hardware, including less convenient throwbacks like the cartridge reader and keyboard. Upgrades include the new 80stastic case, a slew of LEDs, one Nokia LCD, two speakers and an SD slot to load game images.

Ben Heck created this incredible Xbox 360 laptop for THQ’s Darksiders contest, and then had “Colorware (over in Minnesota – go midwest!) print graphics on it using Joe Madureira artwork as a basis.” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

It’s pretty slick looking, I’d heard of Colorware before but this is first time I’ve seen what they can do in person.
