The Concretronic by modder D. Heise may not be the most practical computer, but it most certainly is one of the first we’ve seen that has a case constructed from concrete and steel. To be more specific, “the case for the PC is made from a single, seamless layer of concrete, wrapped around a curvy metal structure made from welding rods and steel sheets, with embedded plexiglas windows so you can see inside.” Click here for the first picture in the gallery.

At first glance, this Corvette ZR1 may look like a toy, but press the power button, and you’ll quickly realize that it’s also a working computer. On the inside, you’ll find “a Jetway NC64 Mobile ITX motherboard, housing a Quad Core Q9000 mobile CPU.” Video after the break. Click here for more pictures.

Video is provided by a Gigabyte 512I Radeon HD card, and there’s 60GB of SSD storage along for the ride.
