Nissan Brain to Vehicle Technology

Forget self-driving cars, Nissan has unveiled B2V (Brain-to-Vehicle) technology at CES 2018. This will basically allow vehicles to interpret signals coming directly from the driver’s brain, this improving reaction times for drivers, as well as to making the car’s more adaptable. “When most people think about autonomous driving, they have a very impersonal vision of the future, where humans relinquish control to the machines. Yet B2V technology does the opposite, by using signals from their own brain to make the drive even more exciting and enjoyable,” said Nissan executive VP, Daniele Schillaci. Byton Concept EV

The Byton Concept EV made its debut at CES 2018 tonight, and a production model will hit showrooms in 2019, priced from $45,000. This all-electric crossover boasts the “world’s first coast-to-coast display,’ or in other words, a massive 49” touchscreen located across the front center console. The base model will have a 250-mile range on a full charge, and be rated at level 3 autonomous. Continue reading for another video, more pictures and information.

Rollable OLED TV

During CES 2016, LG showcased their rollable 18″ OLED display (video above), and now at CES 2018, they’ve unveiled the world’s first rollable 65″ OLED TV. Not just a normal OLED display, but one with Ultra High Definition (4K) resolution. This same technology could be adapted for mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and even portable gaming consoles. Continue reading for another picture and more information.
