The first unofficial TurboGrafx-16 emulator has hit the iPhone, and it functions quite well to say the least. Continue reading for a video demonstration.

As you can see from the embedded video, the emu is already plenty impressive. Unlike its GP2X counterpart, there’s no support for CD-based game images, but compatibility with TG-16 ROMs is said to be high.

So you’ve seen SNES and NES emulators, now check out the genesis4iphone. Suprisingly enough, gameplay is smooth, but the sound still needs a bit of work. Video after the break.

Due for a public release sometime later this week, genesis4iphone not only emulates Genesis games, but Sega CD titles as well. Sound is a little iffy at the moment, but the option of landscape or portrait mode is nifty, and the games seem to run quickly despite the choppy audio

Right now, the project is still in the beta / testing phase, but you can be assured that in the very near future, your sweaty hands will be smudging all over a virtual controller during heart-pounding games of F-Zero, Killer Instinct, and Super Metroid
