Kids today are bombarded with devices clamoring for their attention, but the XploraOne mini makes a simple promise: stay connected without wasting the day. HMD Global collaborated with Finnish tech firm Xplora Technologies to develop this small device that acts as a gateway into mobile life for children. It allows kids to avoid the unending social media, giving them only the basics to call home or take a brief photo of something fascinating they discovered on the playground. Meanwhile, parents gain control over who can contact their child and when, as well as the ability to monitor all of the small moments that are filmed. Among all the devices vying for our attention, the XploraOne tiny simply hints that less is sometimes enough.

Based on the HMD Fusion X1, the HMD Barça Fusion adds a sporty twist to the smartphone, or the signatures of 11 FC Barcelona players to be exact. These signatures glow in the dark under UV light, while the interface is also jam packed with Easter eggs, including the ability to be woken up by your favorite players – Lewandowski, De Jong, Eric Garcia, Fermín López, etc.

While the HMD Barbie Phone may be more flashy, the HMD Skyline was designed with user repairability in mind. The company calls it Gen2 Repairability, or the ability to complete repairs on your smartphone by simply turning one screw to pop open the back cover using a screwdriver and guitar pick.

There’s the HMD Barbie Phone, and then the modular HMD Fusion smartphone, the latter of which can be easily customized, repaired or just restyled, thanks to a 6-pin connector on the back of the device.
