Amazon is selling the Acer Aspire One 3G for just $149.99 shipped with new service plan, originally priced at $449.99. It features “integrated high-speed 3G cellular connectivity via ATT’s mobile broadband data network, which is available in most major metropolitan areas.” Product page.
The AT&T 3G network uses the dual-band 850/1900 MHz 3G network (UMTS/HSDPA), which provides download speeds ranging from 700 Kbps to 1.7 Mbps, and upload speeds ranging from 500 Kbps to 1.2 Mbps.

Sprint will soon offer a 99-cent HP Mini 110c netbook to consumers, but unfortunately, that price doesn’t come without a lengthy 2-year broadband data contract at $60/month. The netbook features a “1.6GHz Atom [processor], 1GB of RAM and three-cell battery.”
We knew we’d see cheap / free subsidized netbooks eventually, and here we are: Best Buy and Sprint are offering up a Compaq-branded HP Mini 110c for just 99 cents when you sign a two-year data contract.
