Speaking of multiplayer, at the SCEA Press Conference, Christophe announced that PlayStation and SUBWAY struck a partnership that will allow Uncharted fans throughout the United States early access to the COMPLETE Uncharted 3 competitive multiplayer experience.

Well, after many weeks of announcements, a new update is finally available. According to the official blog, update v3.61 is available now and “requires all PSN users to change their password once PlayStation Network is restored.” As an added layer of security, Sony is only allowing users to change passwords on their on PS3s, or one in which their PSN account was activated. The company “strongly recommend that all PSN account holders with PS3s update their systems to prepare for when PlayStation Network is back online.”

Destructoid touts Battlefield 3 as “easily the best looking FPS yet”, and after watching a few minutes of in-game footage, we have to agree. While the Xbox 360 Resurgence Map Pack was released on June 3rd, PS3 and PC owners can get their hands on the new maps today. It will add “five maps to Modern Warfare 2: Vacant and Strike from the first Modern Warfare, and Carnival, Trailer Park, and Fuel, which are all new.” Videos after the break. The Resurgence Map Pack will cost $15, same as the Stimulus Map Pack released back in April. And if interest in this map pack remains anything like it was for the Stimulus pack, then it’ll probably sell really, really well.
