Aside from the Sony PSP Go unveiling at E3, Polyphony Digital also showed off Gran Turismo Mobile, which “boasts 60fps rendering, 800 cars, 35 tracks, career/arcades modes, and the ability to play against three friends over the PSP Go’s wifi connection.” Video after the break. We haven’t been able to find out if Gran Turismo Mobile will work on the current PSP platform, but we might be willing to shell out the coin if it means we can practice running the Nurburgring on our next flight to Germany.

We thought there could be a little more depth between your thumbs and palm of your hand, and it felt a bit hard to locate the shoulder buttons, but that may be because we’re used to the older model.

While it may just be a clever marketing campaign on Sony’s part, this supposedly leaked PSP Go box does look quite similar to the PS3 Slim’s. Plus, we now know that it will feature 16GB of built-in storage, a memory card slot, and Bluetooth 2.0.

Note the similar font, horizontal band, and general placement of device specs like memory capacity. Pretty similar, thus giving the slim PS3 rumor that much more weight.

Put simply, or as simple as can be, this modder “has wired an old PS2 mouse into his portable’s serial port, by way of an ATMEL ATmega8 chip-sporting breadboard.” Video after the break.

The various PSP buttons can be mapped to the mouse’s buttons or scroll wheel, and scaling and sample rates are adjustable.

Brando’s remarkable Cobra PSP stand is so flexible that it can be wrapped around your waist like a belt. Plus it even “includes a traditional vacuum hook stand for those who dress in plastic.” Available now, priced at $23. Continue reading for one more picture.

Oh, Brando — how your works continue to amaze us. As if the outfit’s litany of bizarre USB-powered peripherals weren’t enough to keep you smiling through tough times, there’s… this.

Currently at $811.00 on eBay, this PSP testing tool includes “a PSP test unit (with one dead pixel) and, of course, all the necessary cables to get things up and running.” Auction page. Click here for first picture in gallery.

..judging from the pics, it does appear to run just fine. Not a whole lot of details beyond that, unfortunately, but the unit (a DTP-H1500 A, specifically) does appear to at least play UMDs.
